When Selena Gomez teased the launch of her beauty line, Rare Beauty, to her 190 million Instagram followers back in February, she couldn’t have predicted how radically different the world would be when her products finally hit shelves, as they’re doing on September 3rd. The makeup line, which includes everything from foundation and concealers to lip color will debut in more than 1,100 Sephora stores and Sephora stores inside JCPenneys, as well as on Rarebeauty.com.
“Selena + Chef” is returning for a second season on HBO Max.
The quarantine cooking show features the multihyphenate celebrity whipping up meals while confined to her home, and included in this season recipes for Baja-style fried rice, buttermilk fried chicken, fried gnocchi and meatballs with brown butter sauce, and pan seared Branzino with spiced tomato-coconut sauce, among other dishes.
“Learning from some of the best chefs in the world has vastly improved my cooking skills but I have a lot more to learn,” said Gomez. “I am looking forward to challenging myself in the kitchen on the next season.”
It’s a Wizards of Waverly Place reunion for Selena Gomez and David Henrie.
The duo, who played teenage wizards on the Disney Channel show that aired from 2007 to 2012, announced recently that they have teamed up on Henrie’s directorial feature debut, This Is the Year, and are inviting fans to the film’s virtual premiere.
BILLBOARD – If you just can’t wait until Friday (June 26) to hear Selena Gomez‘s collab with Trevor Daniel on a remix of his song “Past Life,” check out a short Q&A session the pair posted on Thursday (June 25). In the 30-second socially distanced chat, the “Falling” star opens by telling Gomez how much he loves her take on the track, thanking her for blessing the remix.”When I heard the song the first time, I loved the fact that it was kind of like a story about all the things that we tend to hold onto and the patterns that we have,” Gomez says when asked what “Past Life” means to her. “And I’m very, very vocal about my personal experiences making decisions that aren’t necessarily healthy for me.“
