Selena Gomez has sensationally called Boris Johnson out over his recent announcement about how Great Britain will distribute surplus vaccines across the world.

Taking to her Twitter account, the American pop star tagged the UK Prime Minister in a tweet public to 64.8 million followers.

The 28-year-old wrote: “.@BorisJohnson, 5million doses by September is too little too late. You promised Britain would donate ALL its surplus vaccines. Ahead of the #G7 Summit in Cornwall, call on the PM to help meet 1B doses.”

Why Selena Gomez Reportedly Is In ‘No Rush’ To Seriously Date Or ‘Settle Down’ With Someone
Articles,Videos     admin   Comments Off on Why Selena Gomez Reportedly Is In ‘No Rush’ To Seriously Date Or ‘Settle Down’ With Someone    Share:

Selena Gomez is coming out of the coronavirus pandemic with a focus on her health and her booming career—not finding her forever partner, Entertainment Tonight reports. The outlet got an update from multiple sources on how Gomez is doing—and why the single singer isn’t looking for a serious boyfriend currently. One source explained that while Gomez someday wants that, right now, she wants this time for herself, her work, and her health.

“Selena is very traditional, she would love to find ‘her person’ and get married and have a family one day,” a source told the outlet. “[But] she is not looking for something serious now and is in no rush to settle down as her priority continues to be her health, career and philanthropy work. She has worked so hard on her physical and mental health over the past few years, and she knows she must be the healthiest version of herself if she’s going to share her life with someone else, so she will only get involved in a serious relationship when she feels ready.”

A second source told the outlet, “Selena has continued to stay focused and busy in terms of her life and career. She is in a great place and really feels like she knows herself at this point. She wants to ensure that she’s doing things that help her mental health and personal well-being. She has been working so much on herself over the years. She wants to make sure that she’s in a safe and confident space altogether before jumping into dating anyone seriously.”

In September, Gomez spoke about pandemic dating during a sit-down interview with makeup artist Nikkie de Jager (who goes by NikkieTutorial). “It’s just funny that I release things that say I want a boyfriend and stuff,” Gomez quipped. “And I’m like, ‘I didn’t really mean it, though. Guys are a lot of work. Every one of my exes thinks I’m crazy. So, I don’t care.”

Gomez opened up in November to The Newsette about making peace with her journey dating and how it helped inspired her best art. “None of what I’m doing now would have stemmed from the mindset I had before. My best stuff is happening now. And then the greatest thing ever in my music was ‘Lose You to Love Me’ [Gomez’s breakup song believed to be about ex Justin Bieber]… I remember I had a moment where I couldn’t believe it, because the first and second day, the reactions were crazy, and I remember I smiled and I was like, ‘That’s why it’s worth it. All of these years of confusion and being in love, and all of this stuff… and it was finally a clean slate.’ And it wasn’t even because everyone liked it; it was just a realization of why I went through everything I went through…”

Selena Gomez Gets Candid About Her Best (And Worst) Fashion Moments
Articles,Videos     admin   Comments Off on Selena Gomez Gets Candid About Her Best (And Worst) Fashion Moments    Share:

“Oh, I’m nervous. Oh, it’s bad.” This may be how Selena Gomez kicked off her Life in Looks video for Vogue, but a look back at some of the singer’s most iconic fashion moments is hardly frightful—rather, they range from edgy and cool to glamorous and feminine.

For a blast from the past, Gomez kicked off the series with a punky outfit she wore to an ABC All Star party in 2007. “It’s so bad,” she says of her oversized tee, skinny jeans, and white stiletto boots, which she styled herself. “I thought I was so cool, you guys.” However, she does have affection for the strapless, bejeweled dress she wore in her “Love You Like a Love Song” music video. “It was the first time I tried to be high fashion,” says Gomez. “And you can laugh at that, because that’s not high fashion.” (It was, however, emblematic of the era.)

As Gomez’s career skyrocketed after her time on Disney, she says she really began finding her fashion footing. A personal highlight was the vampy Versace gown she wore to the 2013 VMAs, which was spliced to reveal a bustier underneath. “I remember for the first time feeling like a woman,” Gomez says. She also got candid about her struggles dressing for these big-ticket events, such as when she wore Vera Wang for the 2015 Met gala. “I fluctuate a lot with my weight, and I remember this night specifically I didn’t feel good about my body,” Gomez says. “What was really amazing was I got the chance to work on a dress that fit my body. That was a moment where I was like, ‘I don’t have to be that 19-year-old body shape anymore.’”

Selena Gomez And Khalid To perfom with Marshmellow At UEFA Champions League Final

Selena Gomez and Khalid to perform with Marshmello at the UEFA Champions League Final Opening Ceremony.

The ‘Lose You To Love Me’ hitmaker will join forces with the 23-year-old singer as guest performers for this year’s opening ceremony of the football event, which is being headlined by the 29-year-old DJ.

Marshmello announced the news on Monday (24.05.21) in a video posted to social media in which he mimicked the way matches are selected in the early stages of the Champions League with a bowl full of balls containing pieces of paper.

He then pulled out two balls and opened them up to reveal the paper inside read “Khalid” and “Selena Gomez”.

Marshmello captioned the clip: “Hey @selenagomez and @thegreatkhalid

“See you at the #UCLFinal Opening Ceremony presented by @PepsiGlobal.

“@ChampionsLeague #ForTheLoveOfIt #PepsiShow (sic)”

The UEFA Champions League Final – which is presented by Pepsi – will take place on Saturday (29.05.21) at the Estadio do Dragao Stadium in Porto, Portugal.

For Selena, the performance will come after she recently hosted Global Citizen’s ‘Vax Live: The Concert to Reunite the World’ event, which saw performances from the likes of H.E.R., Jennifer Lopez, Foo Fighters, J Balvin, and Eddie Vedder, and was designed to “inspire vaccine confidence worldwide and help get the COVID-19 vaccines to everyone, everywhere”.

And the 28-year-old singer said she was determined to use her platform to help stop the spread of misinformation about COVID-19 and its vaccines.

She said: “I want to do my best to use my platform to confront these issues.

“People [are] getting false information. It’s scaring people and it’s circulating on all these different sites and I see these heads of companies not doing anything about it. I wanted to be a part of this to make those conversations happen, to reach out to people who aren’t getting the vaccine and help them in any way we can.

“The purpose of me reaching out to people is … to talk about what I believe is going to need to happen for us to have progress … when it comes to me and when it comes to the connection I have with people in general just people, I’m not afraid – I would rather say something than not say something. I would rather take this route and be brave and fearless and go straight for it.”
